The EVOLTREE Network

EVOLTREE is a European Research Group of 28 partners in 19 European countries (Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom), under the umbrella of the European Forest Institute (EFI), which maintains and provides the scientific community with research facilities, resources and training, aiming to:
- improve understanding of forest ecosystem structure, dynamics and processes by linking genomics, genetics, ecology and evolutionary studies
- promote the application of genetics and genomics in breeding and conservation activities, and in forestry operations
- continuously develop initiatives and projects for long-term research
- provide foresight documents and motivate scientific discussion.
