An SSR database application has been developed to store the large quantity of microsatellites or Simple Sequence Repeats (SSRs) being developed within the Evoltree Network of Excellence, or developed by other partners' projects. The application allows Evoltree users to upload, search and browse the SSR data. The data submission template is also available for download to Evoltree users.

Similarly an SNP database application has been developed for the management of Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) developed by Evoltree or other related projects. SNP data can be searched and browsed by users, and data upload can also be done online based on the downloadable template.

We are currently working on the integration of these databases to the eLab common search interface, but in the meantime they are accessible through the local portal in Southampton.
