The following two videos show how the elab functions can be used.
1. Start Search
The first video shows how a search query can be started and how query parameters can be refined. As a first example, a query is started to find all available crossings. Then the search is refined by species (to find all crossings for species Pinus pinaster). Afterwards, as a third example, the search is refined by species and by a certain crossing type:
2. View Details
The second video shows how details of items from the result can be viewed and how items are linked together. The video starts with a search query to find all microarrays that have been used in an experiment. Then a microarray name is clicked in the result list to view more details about it. In the details view information about the data owner can be found (and the website link is clicked in the video). To see how items are linked together, the experiment name is clicked in the details view. Then the details of the experiment the microarray has been used in are shown:
