Forest Biotechnology: Meeting the Needs of a Changing World

The world faces a growing threat from climate change and increasing shortages of food, fiber and fuel. Tree Biotechnology can provide solutions to circumvent these threats by supporting increases in wood production with fewer resources. The Tree Biotechnology Conference 2013 took place in Asheville, focusing on the present and future roles of forest biotechnology in supplying solutions to meet the needs of society.
