Our forests in the 21st century - ready for risks and opportunities?

EFI celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2013. During these two decades, the institute has evolved in many respects and has led to major achievements. The commemoration was also an opportunity to develop an analysis of the future of our forests, and on how EFI and its partners can contribute to meet the challenges related to the various changes, risks and uncertainties to which the forests will be exposed.

The forum gave a taste on a few important and concrete issues, seen as illustrations or examples, which stimulated balanced discussion between policy/decision makers, stakeholders and scientists.
