10th International Symposium on Phyllosphere Microbiology
From Sunday 19 July 2015 -  14:00
To Thursday 23 July 2015 - 13:00

The Phyllosphere Microbiology conference series has a longstanding tradition of gathering leading experts from different disciplines including microbial ecology, molecular microbiology, plant pathology and physiology, mycology, biochemistry, modelling, microscopy, entomology and aerobiology.

Knowledge on the interactions that occur among phyllosphere biota and between the biota and the host plants that they colonize is essential for the development of rational strategies to manipulate these communities in ways that are beneficial to agriculture and other managed ecosystems.

The topics of current research address in particular the structure and function of microbial populations and impacts on plant growth and health.

The conference will bring together young scientists and established researchers with various backgrounds in order to create a forum for exchange, discussion, and presentation of their recent projects and results with a future perspective.
