Conference Information

Theme: Integrating Tree Breeding, Genomics, Silviculture, and Growth and Yield

Scientific sessions will include presentations on a range of topics within forest genetics including population, quantitative, and conservation genetics; genomics; tree breeding; and seed orchards. In addition to invited presentations by leading forest geneticists, there will be opportunities for volunteer presentation and posters. Students are encouraged to attend, and are offered reduced registration fees. A limited number of student sponsorships, through the Canadian Forest Genetics Association, will be available for students attending Canadian universities with accredited forestry programs.
