The goal of the development of the TreeMBase Tool is to manage the data needed or produced by the models:

• For each model, it is to a tool to store their input/output data. Different cases appears: for ForGem, as the data processing is already based on databases, the work consists in integrating their structure in the TreeMBase. For other models which use an inventory file as input for example; the database will store the file content.

• The generation of input data/parameters based on the data shared in the database will allow as example: two different models to use the same input data for model comparison; to use output data of one model as input of another one.

• The development of the TreeMBase shouldn't modify the way models are running.

Download Data from the TreeMBase

When you are a model owner and have contributed data to the TreeMBase Tool, then you have access to the TreeMBase database through its web-interface. With this application, you can select and download data to your model, or upload new data to the database.

Even if you are logged in to the EvolTree portal already, you will have to log in to the application. Please contact the system administrator in case you think you should have access to the application, but do not have a username/password.
