International Conference

The 3rd Biennial Conference of the North American Forest Genetics Society (NAFGS), will take place June 15th - 19th, 2026, at Université Laval in Québec City, Canada. This event will bring together researchers, practitioners, students, and professionals to share advances in forest genetics, genomics, tree breeding, conservation, and forest health.

The conference aims to foster collaboration and the integration of knowledge across scales and disciplines, from molecular tools to landscape-level processes, while valuing diverse ways of knowing, including scientific and Indigenous knowledge systems.

The program includes workshops on Monday, oral presentations from Tuesday to Thursday, a poster session during the Tuesday evening cocktail reception, a banquet on Thursday evening, and a field trip on Friday.
